Tomorrow is our dual meet against the Villagers Piranhas!

Please read below everything you need to know for the meet.

WHEN TO ARRIVE & SWIMMER CHECK-IN INFORMATION:

The meet will be held at the Briarhills pool. If you live close to the pool, please consider riding your bike or walking.

ALL swimmers must be checked in at their tents by 1:50 p.m. Attendance will be taken at 2:00 p.m. and warm-ups will begin promptly at 2:10 p.m.

The meet will start promptly at 3:00 p.m.

VERY IMPORTANT: In the case of an unplanned delay or absence, please TEXT Kristi: 512-771-9703

ITEMS TO BRING TO MEET:

* Wear your team suit and team t-shirt to the meet!

* goggles (+ extra pair in case yours break)

* Dolphins swim cap

* towels (at least one to dry off & one to sit on)

* plenty of water - it will be SUPER hot!

* cash for concessions

* folding chairs for you and your swimmer

HEAT SHEETS:

Coaches are working today on finalizing the entries. Unofficial heat sheets will be pushed out to meet participants this evening around 5 p.m.

PARENT VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS:

All families should have signed up for a volunteer position. If you did not sign up and are available to help, please sign up via the Swimtopia app.

If you are available to help with set up, please come to the Briarhills pool at 8:00 a.m.

DECLARE ATTENDANCE FOR SATURDAY’S RELAY MEET!

If you have not already, please declare your swimmer’s attendance for this Saturday’s relay meets by end of day Tuesday.

The meet will be held at the SBISD Natatorium – 10404 Tiger Trail, Houston, TX 77043

Swimmers will need to arrive by 2:30 p.m. and the meet will start at 4:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT: For the relay meet we can only enter an A and a B relay team in each event per age group/gender. So just because your swimmer is available to attend, it does not mean they will qualify to swim. Once we have everyone’s attendance, the coaches can then determine the relay teams. A list of meet participants will be emailed to the team on Friday morning.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Monday – Meet Day! No practices on meet days.

Tuesday –Picture Day 8am. No practice today! Declare for Relay Meet by 6 p.m.

Wednesday through Friday - Regular morning practices

Saturday – Relay Meet at 4 p.m. Meet info will be sent to the team on Thursday, June 13th.
