BH v. Villagers Meet Results
Dear Meet Participants,
First, let me say a BIG THANK YOU for enduring the heat yesterday. I know the set up of our swimmer tents on the tennis courts was rough. You all were so wonderful to stick it out and make the most of it.
I would like to say a special thanks to the JACKSON family for providing their large swamp cooler and especially thank you to Nick Jackson for hosing down the tennis courts and spraying kids down. You went above and beyond and made the heat tolerable!
A special thanks also goes out to Alec Luong for treating our swimmers to a snow cone after their first race! The kids were beyond excited! Thank you for your generosity and kindness. It was the perfect gift!
Thank you to our Team Doctor, Scott McKay, and Team Nurse, Andrea Dvoracheck, who checked on our swimmers and treated a few from both teams last night. Having you tend to swimmers that fell ill was a consolation to parents on both teams. We are so grateful for your compassion, kindness and medical expertise!
And finally, thank you very much to all of the families who brought extra tents, fans, cordless power sources, coolers with water, Gatorade, bags of ice and other items to combat the heat! Our Dolphin families are simply the best! Thank you! Thank you!
**IMPORTANT** One of our swimmers lost her silver wallet last night. She put it next to her shoes before her event and when she came back it was gone. The wallet had $20 inside and also her library card. You can imagine how important the wallet is and how sad she was when it was not by her shoes when she returned from her swim. Parents, please check your children's belongings and let me know if it turns up. We would very much like to see it returned to our swimmer. No questions asked!
Finally, please find attached below the meet results. Congratulations to our swimmers on a great WIN to end the season!
Go Dolphins!
