    Declare NOW for Champs!

    June 21st

    Dear Dolphins,

    It is now time to declare your swimmer’s attendance for the Champs meets. Champs operate differently from our dual meets. Please read the information below before declaring your attendance.

    MEET LOCATION:

    Champs will be held at the South Briar Pool at 1708 Crystal Hills Dr., Houston, TX 77077.

    MEET TIMES:

    INDIVIDUAL events will be on FRIDAY, June 24th.

    10 & under will need to arrive by 7 a.m. and will finish approximately at noon.

    11 and up will need to arrive by 12:45 p.m. and will finish approximately at 6 p.m.

    RELAY events will be on SATURDAY, June 25th. All swimmers that qualify will need to arrive by 8 a.m. and will finish approximately at 1 p.m.

    DECLARING ATTENDANCE:

    STEP 1: On our website under the Calendar tab, please declare your attendance.

    Select the Meet of Champs age group that is applicable to your swimmer (either 10 & under or 11 & up). Click the green “Meet Entry” button.

    If your swimmer is able to attend Friday, please declare “ATTENDING”. If your swimmer cannot come Friday, please declare as “NOT ATTENDING”.

    STEP 2: Next, Select the Meet of Champs: Relays meet. Click the green “Meet Entry” button.

    If your swimmer is able to attend Saturday, please declare “ATTENDING”. If your swimmer cannot come Friday, please declare as “NOT ATTENDING”.

    Please declare your attendance for both Friday and Saturday by NOON tomorrow (Wednesday).

    **VERY IMPORTANT** Declaring as “ATTENDING” does not mean your swimmer will automatically swim at the meets.

    Parents will receive an email by 8 p.m. on Wednesday if your swimmer has qualified for Champs.

    THURSDAY PRACTICE WILL BE FOR CHAMPS SWIMMERS ONLY

    PARENT VOLUNTEER JOBS:

    We will need parent volunteers on both Friday and Saturday. Once we determine, which swimmers are attending these meets, we will reach out to the attending swimmers’ parents with volunteer job information.

    I hope all of this information makes sense. For now, please just review the schedule and declare whether or not your swimmer can attend Friday AND Saturday IF they qualify.
