Dear Prelims Participants,

Congratulations on qualifying for Prelims! Please read ALL of the following information. The majority of this information is NEW and different from our regular meets.

POOL LOCATION AND PARKING:

Parking Location: The Briarwood School - 12207 Whittington Drive

Pool Location: South Briar Pool – 1708 Crystal Hills Drive

Please see below attached maps and parking information.

WHEN TO ARRIVE & SWIMMER CHECK-IN INFORMATION:

PRELIMS ARE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 21^st

10 & under will need to arrive by 7 a.m. and will finish approximately at noon.

11 and up will need to arrive by 1 p.m. and will finish approximately at 6 p.m.

WHAT TO BRING:

* Wear your team suit and team t-shirt!

* goggles (+ extra pair in case yours break)

* swim cap

* towels (at least one to dry off & one to sit on)

* healthy snacks

* LOTS OF WATER!

* cash for concessions

* sun screen

* folding chairs for you and your swimmer

HEAT SHEETS:

Attached to the bottom of this email are the unofficial heat sheets for 10 & under (morning) and 11 and up (afternoon) meets. Please print and bring a copy with you to the meet.

AWARDS:

Awards will not be handed out at Prelims or Champs. We will present the awards at our Awards Party on Monday.

CHAMPS T-SHIRTS:

Champs t-shirts will be available for purchase at the meet. The cost is $15. Sizes and quantities may be limited.

CHAMPS ON SATURDAY:

Those that place 1^st – 6^th place overall in their event at Prelims will advance to Champs.

Champs will be held Saturday, June 26^th, also at South Briar Pool. Swimmers will need to arrive by 8 a.m. and we will finish by 1 p.m.

Coaches will either notify swimmers at Prelims or will call the swimmers that qualify for Champs on Friday evening. Be prepared to tell the coaches if for some reason you cannot attend Champs.

REMINDER: CAR DECORATING THIS EVENING!

Remember to come decorate your cars this evening from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. We will meet in the parking lot next to the tennis courts.
