Dear Dolphins,

Everyone is doing a great job at practice and the coaches are very pleased. I hope your swimmers are enjoying their first few days!

I’d like to take this time to tell you of a few important items:

Saturday Practice

We will have our first Saturday practice this Saturday. The practice times are:

5 & 6’s: 8:00 – 8:30

7 & 8’s: 8:30 – 9:15

9 & 10’s: 9:15 – 10:05

11 & up: 10:00 – 10:45

We will reward Saturday swimmers with DONUTS after practice! Yum!

Last Call for Official Team T-Shirts

Each athlete receives a team t-shirt with their registration. If parents would also like to have a t-shirt, please purchase online by end of practice on Saturday. 

Team Swimsuit Fitting

Our swimsuit sale with A-Gleam Swimwear will be held on Monday from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive about 20-30 minutes before practice to shop and try on swimwear.Swimmers must be dry and have on undergarments for trying on swimwear. If you cannot come before practice, then please bring a towel and undergarments to change into in order to try on suits after practice.

NOTE: The fit of the suit is meant to be tight - skin tight. It will loosen a bit in the water. Your swimmer may complain at first that it is hard to get on and is too tight. Please trust the recommendation of the sales ladies at A-Gleam. They have been doing this many, many years and know how to fit your swimmer. We do not want any sagging or loose suits and so it is very important that we get the fit right. I will be available to address any concerns you have at the fittings.

If you are not available to get fitted on Monday, A-Gleam will be back on Thursday. If you cannot make either day, you will have to go to the A-Gleam store in Katy to pick up your suit.

Bling and Dry Fit Options

On Monday, Rockin’ R Rhinestones will be selling “bling” t-shirts, tanks and dry-fit shirts. Please plan to stop by their table to see all the fancy designs they are offering! You can also view their merchandise on our website.

Have you downloaded the Swimtopia app?

We will be using this app to send alerts to the team and it will also be very handy for you to have at our meets to keep track of your swimmer's events. Once you have downloaded the app, sign in with the same sign in you use for our website (do not create a new account). 

Pool Rules

Parents, please remind swimmers no running around the pool deck. We've already had one child fall and scrape their knee and we don't want others to be injured. 

Also, please monitor your children as they play on the playground. Children are not allowed to play unsupervised. Please also make sure the children are not climbing over the gate from the pool to the playground. They need to use the playground entrance by the tennis courts to enter. 

Lost and Found

Please check the table at the front today when you come in. We already have many lost and found items.
