Dear Dolphins,

Welcome to the 2018 Dolphins swim team! The coaches are eager and excited to meet all of our new and returning swimmers at our first day of practice on Monday, May 14^th.

Please note, due to large enrollment numbers in the 7 & 8 age group, it was necessary to open a second practice group to accommodate all of our 7 & 8 swimmers. By doing so, the practice times for all age groups have shifted slightly for the month of May.

There will now be only one practice group for the 5 & 6 year old swimmers. All 5 & 6’s weekday practices will be from 4:00-4:30 p.m.

7 & 8’s Group #1 will practice weekdays from 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. and Group #2 will practice from 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. An email listing group assignments will be sent to all 7 & 8 swimmers by end of day today.

9 & 10’s weekday practice time is from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m.

11 & up’s weekday practice is from 6:45 - 7:45 p.m.

The Saturday practice times have also changed slightly (by 15 minutes) for all age groups except 5 & 6’s. The time changes have been posted on the website and a printable calendar is also attached to this email.

**Another time change is for the Newcomers Meeting scheduled on Saturday, May 12^th. The meeting will now be at 9:30 a.m. at the Briarhills Park. This is an informational meeting for first year parents. Returning parents do NOT need to attend. We will go over everything you need to know about summer swim team. There will also be time for Q & A so bring all of your questions!  The meeting will last about an hour and is for parents only. Children are welcome to play on the playground during the meeting. Please bring a lawn chair for yourself. If you are unable to attend on the 12th, we will hold another newcomers meeting at the Lakes of Parkway pool at 8 a.m.on Saturday, May 19th.

Information regarding entry passes for Lakes of Parkway will be emailed to the team first part of next week along with important information for the first week of practice. Be on the lookout for more emails from me next week!
